I finally did it.
I have been tinkering with the idea of starting a personal website for a while. Partially because of a shortage of time and partially because of lack of momentum, it took me far longer that I would have liked… but finally I did it.
Actually, this is my second attempt. Many years ago I had purchased this domain and stood up a website, but that effort did not last. I hope I’ll be second time lucky.
I recently started experimenting with sharing my thoughts on LinkedIn and I quite liked the experience. It enabled an exchange of ideas with people across the world whom otherwise I would have not been able to interact with.
I figured that having my own website would give me more flexibility and (more hope of) ownership of the content.
What am I planning to talk about?
I have been always attracted by the Financial Services industry, which has also been the building block of my professional career.
A few years ago, I stumbled into Bitcoin and I have been going down the cryptocurrencies rabbit hole since.
Another personal interest of mine is in philosophy, as in the study of mental models from prominent thinkers of the past and present. I believe that studying the thought process of interesting people can enable us to come up with an original way of interpreting the world around us (what some may refer to as personal philosophy).
So… I will likely touch topics in line with my competence and passions. I hope to produce interesting content.
